When David K.
Bruce, D.V.M. and his wife Anna opened the Read Mountain
Animal Hospital in April 1999, they wanted people and pets
alike to feel welcomed and relaxed. To achieve this, they
chose a cottage built for the manager of Dove Orchards in
1928 as their location. They kept as much of the original
house as possible and added the space necessary for a full
service veterinary hospital.
Read Mountain Animal Hospital offers complete care for your
pet, including preventive health care with health examinations
and vaccinations, dentistry, spays and neuters, X-rays,
in-house blood tests, minor and major surgeries, microchip
identification and lost pet retrieval system. But Dr. Bruce
and Anna also recognize the important role pet owners have
as primary care givers. Our goal is to help you give your
pet a longer, healthier, and happier life by offering top-of-the-line
products and emphasizing wellness and preventive care.
We partnered
with VetCentric,
a veterinarian pharmacy,
to provide at-home delivery of routine pet prescriptions
and diets to save you time and money.
